He knew he was hooked the moment his friend invited him to a go-kart race. In 2008, dreams of becoming a success in the NASCAR world became a reality with Joe Gibbs Racing. JGR secured a position for Matt in the Camping World East Series, where Matt thrived while locking down two victories, three pole positions, and five Top-10 finishes.

Sometimes the road is long, but in the end, hard work makes it worth while. In 2016, Matt consistently finished races stronger and stronger. That year would also confirm Bristol as Matt’s favorite track in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series circuit, as he finished 6th, his highest finish to date. Pursuing another opportunity with Go FAS Racing, Matt DiBenedetto will field the No.32 Can-Am Ford Fusion in 2017.
